Sizzle Dining Southwest Florida: 13 Eat + Explore Adventures for September 2026
What if instead of simply making a restaurant reservation this September, you used dinner as an excuse to explore somewhere new?
That is exactly how this guide came together.
Living in Southwest Florida, I am always looking for ways to turn places we already have around us into little adventures instead of waiting for an actual vacation to do something fun. And September gives us the perfect excuse. Explore more Southwest Florida guides
Sizzle Dining 2026 runs September 1–30, with restaurants across Lee and Collier counties offering special prix-fixe menus. Better yet, every Sizzle meal sold generates a $1 donation to Blessings in a Backpack SWFL.
But instead of creating another list of restaurants, I wanted to answer the question I usually have after picking one:
Okay... but what should we DO while we're there?
So I created the SWFL Sizzle Challenge: 13 mini adventures pairing a participating Sizzle Dining restaurant with a nearby attraction, beach, park, resort day, local event or experience.
Some outings are nearly free. Some are perfect date nights. Some work beautifully with kids. And a few basically turn an ordinary September day into a mini vacation.
The challenge?
Pick a city. Explore somewhere local. Eat somewhere new. Then check it off.
How Sizzle Dining Southwest Florida Works in 2026
You don't need to purchase an event ticket or dining passport.
Choose a participating restaurant, check its Sizzle menu and make a reservation when appropriate. Sizzle describes the event as fixed-price, multi-course dining, with beverages, taxes and gratuities generally excluded. Other coupons and promotions normally cannot be combined with a Sizzle menu.
Something else is different for 2026: restaurants have been given more flexibility to set their own Sizzle prices as long as the menus meet Sizzle's discount requirements. Current reporting says the special menus must represent roughly 25–30% savings compared with regular menu pricing.
That explains why you'll see prices such as $20, $25, $37 and $54 in this guide instead of every restaurant fitting into the traditional Sizzle price tiers.

Sizzle Dining Southwest Florida Stop #1: Babcock Ranch
Founder's Square + Lake Babcock → Oar & Iron
EXPLORE: Founder's Square + Lake Babcock
Start the challenge with one of the easiest outings on the list.
Founder's Square is the heart of Babcock Ranch, with approximately 13 acres surrounding the downtown gathering area. You'll find the Great Lawn, splash pad, lake views and a boardwalk running along Lake Babcock.
Go later in the afternoon so you can walk around, let the kids hit the splash pad and catch golden hour before dinner.
Activity cost: FREE
EAT: Oar & Iron
Finish the evening at Oar & Iron in Babcock Ranch.
Sizzle price: 3-course dinner — $39 per person
Oar & Iron is located at 42070 Cypress Parkway and is open for lunch and dinner.

BEST FOR: Families, couples and easy date nights
LOCAL TIP: Don't make dinner the only destination. The lakefront boardwalk around golden hour is what turns this into a mini outing.
2. Bonita Springs: Breakfast + Resort Day + Sizzle Dinner
Waffle Monkey → Hyatt Regency Coconut Point → Tanglewood
This may be my favorite full-day itinerary in the challenge because you can essentially create a Bonita Springs staycation without actually booking a hotel room.
START: Waffle Monkey
Start with breakfast at Waffle Monkey. Their Bonita Springs location serves sweet and savory waffles, coffee, smoothies and other breakfast favorites and is currently open daily from 8 a.m.–2 p.m.

THEN: Hyatt Regency Coconut Point ResortPass
Instead of going home after breakfast, turn the outing into a resort day.
Hyatt Regency Coconut Point's pool complex includes pools, a lazy river and waterslides. Day access can be booked separately through ResortPass; current pool-access hours are generally 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with pricing changing by date.
FINISH: Tanglewood – A Southern Kitchen
After your pool day, change for dinner without leaving the resort.
Tanglewood is inside Hyatt Regency Coconut Point and specializes in Southern-inspired cuisine with seafood and regional favorites.

If you order both Waffle Monkey's Sizzle option and Tanglewood's dinner, that's about $56 per person in Sizzle meals, before drinks, taxes and gratuities.
BEST FOR: Girls' day, couples, families and staycation lovers

3. Cape Coral: Nature + Marina Night
Rotary Park → Fathoms → Cape Harbour
EXPLORE: Rotary Park Environmental Center
Start your afternoon at Rotary Park.
The 97-acre environmental park includes trails and preserved natural areas right in Cape Coral.
Walk the trails, explore the gardens and spend a little time outside before heading toward the marina.
Activity cost: FREE
EAT: Fathoms
Then make your way to Cape Harbour. Fathoms sits right at the marina and combines waterfront views with seafood, steaks, cocktails and live entertainment.
Sizzle price: 3-course dinner — $39 per person
After dinner, walk Cape Harbour instead of getting straight into the car. That's where this pairing really comes together.

4. Downtown Naples: Fancy Vibes on a Smarter Budget
Cambier Park + Fifth Avenue South → BiCE
EXPLORE: Cambier Park + Downtown Naples
Start near Cambier Park and use it as your jumping-off point for exploring Fifth Avenue South.
Walk, window-shop, people-watch and enjoy downtown before heading to dinner.
EAT: BiCE
BiCE has long been part of the Fifth Avenue dining scene and specializes in polished Italian cuisine.
Sizzle price: 3-course dinner — $49 per person
Then walk Fifth Avenue again after dark—the atmosphere feels completely different once the storefronts and restaurants light up.
BEST FOR: Date night, girls' night and visitors
VIBE: Fancy Naples without making every part of the evening expensive.

5. East Naples: Gardens + Sizzle Lunch
Naples Botanical Garden → Brooks Bar & Grill
This is intentionally a morning-to-lunch itinerary because Brooks' Sizzle menu is for lunch.

Go early.
During September, Naples Botanical Garden operates on summer hours from 8 a.m.–2 p.m. Adult admission is currently $27, while children ages 4–17 are free under its summer admission offer.
Walk the tropical gardens, explore the colorful pathways and take your time with photos before it gets hotter.
EAT: Brooks Bar & Grill
After the Garden, drive over to Brooks Bar & Grill at Hibiscus Golf Club.
Sizzle price: 2-course lunch — $20 per person
THE PLAN: Garden morning → Sizzle lunch → optional Naples Beach walk
BEST FOR: Families, couples, mother-daughter days
VIBE: Pretty, relaxed and easy.
6. Estero: Old Florida + Dinner
Koreshan State Park → Oak & Stone → Optional Coconut Point
This one gives you an actual attraction for very little money.
EXPLORE: Koreshan State Park
Koreshan State Park preserves the fascinating remains of the Koreshan Unity settlement and sits along the Estero River.
The park is open from 8 a.m. until sunset, and admission is currently only $5 per vehicle for two to eight people. The ranger station is closed Mondays and Tuesdays as of August 2026, but day-use access remains available.

After the park, head to Oak & Stone in Estero.
Sizzle price: 3-course dinner — $25 per person
The current menu includes a starter, entrée and dessert for $25, with beverages, tax and gratuity excluded.
If you aren't ready to go home, Coconut Point makes an easy final stroll.
Activity: $5 per vehicle
Dinner: $25 per person
BEST FOR: History lovers, families and inexpensive dates
7. Fort Myers: Art + Italian Date Night
Alliance for the Arts → Bellini's
Fort Myers deserves two separate itineraries because this outing feels completely different from the River District.

Begin at Alliance for the Arts on McGregor Boulevard.
The galleries are currently open Tuesday–Friday from 9 a.m.–7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.–1 p.m., which makes a weekday late-afternoon visit especially convenient before dinner. Their August/September gallery exhibition runs through September 26.
EAT: Bellini's
Then stay along the McGregor corridor and head to Bellini's.
Sizzle price: 3-course dinner — $39 per person
Bellini's currently advertises the $39 Sizzle offer directly on its website.
SUGGESTED TIMING: Alliance around 4:30 p.m. → Bellini's around 6 p.m.
BEST FOR: Couples, friends and quieter date nights
VIBE: Art first. Italian dinner after.
8. Downtown Fort Myers: Sunset + OISE + Music Walk
Centennial Park → OISE Ristorante → Downtown Event
This may be the best full-night itinerary of all 13.
START: Sunset on the Caloosahatchee
Start at Centennial Park.
The downtown park sits directly along the Caloosahatchee River and has plenty of room for a sunset stroll before dinner.
EAT: OISE Ristorante
Next, head into the River District for OISE.
OISE combines Japanese and Italian influences through sushi, pasta, steaks and shareable dishes.
Sizzle price: 4-course dinner — $49 per person
FINISH: Stay Downtown
For September 2026, Art Walk took place September 4, while Music Walk is September 18.
If you're doing this itinerary later in the month, September 18 is the night I would choose.

9. Fort Myers Beach: Pretend You're on Vacation for a Night
Beach + Times Square → JWB Grill → Margaritaville
EXPLORE: Fort Myers Beach + Times Square
Arrive in the late afternoon, walk the sand and wander Times Square before sunset.
Fort Myers Beach continues to rebuild after Hurricane Ian, and the Town currently warns that some Times Square businesses are still operating from temporary structures.
EAT: JWB Grill
Then walk into Margaritaville for dinner at JWB Grill. JWB sits on the second floor of the resort overlooking the Gulf.
Sizzle price: 3-course dinner — $49 per person
THE PLAN: Beach → sunset → JWB → stay for the Margaritaville atmosphere

10. Marco Island: Tigertail Beach + Pinchers
If you're completing the challenge with kids, this is one of the first itineraries I would choose.
EXPLORE: Tigertail Beach Park
Spend the day at Tigertail Beach Park shelling, birdwatching, exploring the lagoon and relaxing.
The park is open from 8 a.m. until sunset. Parking is currently $10 per day for visitors without a Collier County resident beach permit, and dogs are not allowed.
Concessions and equipment rentals are currently closed, so pack what you'll need. Here's a list with what to pack for an awesome beach day.
EAT: Pinchers
After the beach, clean up and head to Pinchers on Marco Island.
Sizzle price: 3-course dinner — $29 per person
Pinchers is also known for its Kids Eat Free promotion. However, Sizzle does not normally allow other offers to be combined, so ask the restaurant whether the children's promotion applies when adults are ordering Sizzle rather than assuming both deals will stack.
BEST FOR: Families with kids
11. Midtown Naples: Great Wolf Lodge Daycation + The Local
Water Park Day → Farm-to-Table Dinner
This is the big-ticket family day of the challenge.
PLAY: Great Wolf Lodge Naples
Grab a day pass and turn the afternoon into a full water-park adventure.
Great Wolf Lodge Naples features a 92,000-square-foot indoor water park with 12 waterslides, a wave pool, lazy river and additional attractions.
Great Wolf also sells its own day passes, while ResortPass currently lists day-access options with pricing that varies according to date and availability.
EAT: The Local
After the water park, shower, change and finish the day at The Local.
The Local describes itself as Naples' first farm-and-sea-to-table restaurant, focusing on ingredients sourced from Florida farmers, ranchers and fishermen.
Sizzle price: 3-course dinner — $54 per person
THE PLAN: Water park → change → farm-to-table dinner
BEST FOR: Family daycations, birthdays and special September outings
12. North Naples: Delnor-Wiggins + Old Vines + Mercato
EXPLORE: Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park
Head to Delnor-Wiggins later in the afternoon.
This stretch of coastline gives you beach time and nature in the same place, with opportunities for swimming, shelling, birdwatching, paddleboarding and walking the shoreline.
The park is currently open from 8 a.m. until sunset and costs $6 per vehicle for up to eight people. Drinking water is currently unavailable and temporary restrooms remain in use, so plan accordingly.
EAT: Old Vines Naples at Mercato
After sunset, head to Mercato for dinner at Old Vines.
Sizzle price: 3-course dinner — $49 per person
Old Vines currently lists the $49 dinner directly on its own site, including starter, entrée and dessert choices.
Then walk around Mercato after dinner instead of heading home.

13. St. James City: Old Florida Sizzle Day
Galt Preserve → Phuzzy's Boat Shack
The final stop feels completely different from the polished Naples itineraries.
And that's why I like it.
EXPLORE: Galt Preserve
Start with Galt Preserve on Pine Island.
The preserve includes approximately 2.5 miles of trails and boardwalks, wildlife habitat, fishing opportunities and free parking.
There is currently limited access due to hurricane damage; the bathroom building and boardwalk remain closed, with portable restrooms available.
Activity cost: FREE
EAT: Phuzzy's Boat Shack
Then head farther into St. James City for dinner at Phuzzy's. It's casual, waterfront and very Pine Island.
Sizzle price: 3-course dinner — $29 per person
THE PLAN: Trail → Pine Island drive → waterfront dinner

When is Sizzle Dining 2026?
Sizzle Dining runs September 1–30, 2026. Participating restaurants and menus are subject to change.
Do I need a ticket for Sizzle Dining?
No. Choose a participating restaurant, look at its Sizzle menu, make a reservation when needed and order from the special menu.
Are drinks, tax and tips included?
No, unless an individual menu specifically states otherwise. Sizzle's FAQ says beverages, taxes and gratuities are not included.
Can I combine another restaurant coupon with Sizzle?
Generally no. Sizzle says other discounts, promotional certificates and offers cannot be combined with the Sizzle promotion.
Does Sizzle Dining support a charity?
Yes. Participating restaurants donate $1 for every Sizzle meal sold to Blessings in a Backpack SWFL, which provides food for local children experiencing food insecurity.
Should I make reservations?
Yes, especially for dinner, weekends and some of the more popular restaurants. Individual reservation policies vary by restaurant.
