Laser Hair Removal Results at home | How to get rid of razor bumps

For quite a long time I have suffered from a terrible condition called razor bumps and no matter what I did I just could not get rid of the issue, especially in my bikini area.

This was always a huge deal for me as I live in Florida and a lot of times I didn't allow myself to enjoy a day at the beach with my friends because I was too embarrassed of my razor bumps.

I was hopeless because I had pretty much already tried ALMOST everything on the market, and when I tell you I had tried almost everything, I really had.

Here are some of the stuff I tried that didn't work:

Exfoliating everyday

Waxing

Different Razor brands

Countless "Razor Bump Treatment" After Shave

All Kinds of Shaving Creams - Organic and Non Organic

Nair and similar products

The situation was so serious, I went as far as applying coffee on my bikini area as I heard the acidity in the coffee when rubbed against your skin penetrates into the layers which breaks the hair follicles...Well, it didn't work for me and there were coffee grounds everywhere in my shower!

Nevertheless, when I was finally done with the razor bump cure products and ideas. I went to research other methods of hair removal and came about the brilliant idea of laser hair removal. Sounded perfect and the best treatment for me, exactly what I was looking for.

Well, not really! I was quoted nearly $15,000 just for the hair removal of my bikini area. There was no way I could afford to pay that kind of money just to get rid of body hair.

So, I went on a hunt AGAIN! But this time I found something that I could actually afford and it would solve my problem just the same as laser hair removal would.

Now, to be quite frank, I was very skeptical about this product but who could blame me, after all, I had tried almost everything and the one thing that I knew it would work I couldn't afford. On top of that, this product was kind of new in the market so there weren't so many reviews as there are today.

However, I am so glad I went with my intuition and decided to purchase the Remington iLight Hair Removal System. At the time (2014) I purchased the device for $165.35 on Amazon and today the same product is available for $399.99 with prime membership.

Why such huge difference in price you ask? BECAUSE IT WORK and the more people found out about it, the more the demand grew for it!

You see, ever since I started using the Remington iLight Hair Removal System I have became pregnant twice and ceased treatments until the babies were delivered as recommended by the company. After a few months of not using the product, I started to experience razor bumps once again in my bikini area although they were certainly nowhere near as bad as it used to be.

How I use my Remington iLight Hair Removal

I started treatments with the intensity on level one and have slowly graduated to level two and that remains the settings I use.

Currently, I am treating under arms as well as bikini area once every other week, however, your treatment will vary depending on your needs and the intensity you use. I also like to shave right before a treatment as I hate the smell of burnt hair and in my opinion, it actually hurts when I don't

Which brings me to my next point: DOES IT HURT?

I wouldn't say it hurts, I would say is more bothersome than painful. Imagine if you were quickly zapped and that zap gave you a mild and very brief burn sensation? That's exactly how a treatment with the Remington iLight Hair Removal device feels like.

SHOULD YOU INVEST ON A REMINGTON iLIGHT HAIR REMOVAL?

If you suffer from razor bumps like me, and have a fair to medium skin tone along with medium to dark hair then YES, you should definitely invest in one especially if you don't have the time to be constantly shaving (Who has??)

Now, if you have a dark skin tone, or very light, gray or even red hair, this product is might not be best suited for you. Also, keep in mind to not treat tattooed and dark spot areas.

I hope this blog post has helped you find the information you were looking for so you can make the decision that is best for you and if you have any questions about the Remington iLight Hair Removal feel free to contact me!

I also got my cranberry hibiscus at Echo in Ft. Myers over 13 years ago and I love that they still pop up in my yard. I've been trying to find the exact macros this plant provides to your diet but all I ever come up with is info on either the tea or the flowers. I use the leaves in my salads daily when its growing fresh in my yard. I do prefer the smaller leaves for salad. Any additional info you may have is appreciated!
