Make your own stretch mark oil using these natural ingredients and super easy to follow recipe.

Ingredients to make stretch mark oil

Pregnancy is a beautiful and magical experience but along with it also comes the possibilities for stretch marks. Some women are more prone to have stretch marks more than others but whether you are more or less prone to it, it is better to take precaution as every pregnancy is different and you just never really know what to expect.

When I was pregnant with my first child I was only 19 years old and to be quite frank I was pretty much oblivious about the dangers of stretch marks, let alone how to prevent it. I was also not very familiar with natural products and essential oils so I did get a few stretch marks.

However, by the time my second child arrived I was way more astute and knowledgeable, so the moment I found out I was pregnant I started the stretch mark prevention right away and it totally paid off. I am currently pregnant with my fourth child and did not gain any new stretch marks.

Here is the exact oil I have been using throughout my pregnancies

Stretch mark oil recipe

Ingredients

5 drops of Geranium essential oil

10 drops of Lavender essential oil

10 drops of Wild Orange essential oil

10 drops of Citrus Bliss essential oil (invigorating blend)

Carrier Oil ( Coconut oil, Almond oil, or any other carrier oil that you prefer )

Directions

In a 4oz amber glass bottle, add the essential oils and then fill it up with your carrier oil of choice. Close it up, shake well so the mixture is well blended.

You can apply the mixture to your belly and any other areas that are prone to stretch marks twice or more if you desire. Since this blend doesn't contain any toxic or harmful ingredients, it is totally safe to use as many times as you wish to apply during and after your pregnancy.

The great thing about this stretch mark oil blend is that you can even use it after you are done with your pregnancy as a moisturizer. It smells amazing and will also help your body lock in moisture especially during the winter months.

I also got my cranberry hibiscus at Echo in Ft. Myers over 13 years ago and I love that they still pop up in my yard. I've been trying to find the exact macros this plant provides to your diet but all I ever come up with is info on either the tea or the flowers. I use the leaves in my salads daily when its growing fresh in my yard. I do prefer the smaller leaves for salad. Any additional info you may have is appreciated!
