Ready for a silky and smooth hair without the toxins and chemicals used in most hair products? Essential oils are a great way to get your hair treated and people have been using for decades due to their moisturizing, soothing, and enriching properties.

Now, caring for your hair organically does not have to cost a fortune, this simple DIY deep hair conditioning is easy to make and can be used every week and event twice a week if desired.

It also works well with a heat cap, in case you want to do a deeper treatment.

DIY deep conditioning treatment

3 tbsp of coconut oil

1 tbsp of olive oil

8 drops of essential Oils ( We recommend Lavender, Lemon, Geranium, Clary Sage, Rosemary, Melaleuca, Peppermint )

Whip it all together using a mixer into a creamy consistency. Let it work in the hair for 15 - 30 minutes. Rinse it with cold water and style as usual.

I also got my cranberry hibiscus at Echo in Ft. Myers over 13 years ago and I love that they still pop up in my yard. I've been trying to find the exact macros this plant provides to your diet but all I ever come up with is info on either the tea or the flowers. I use the leaves in my salads daily when its growing fresh in my yard. I do prefer the smaller leaves for salad. Any additional info you may have is appreciated!
