If you’re a parent looking for a fun, hands-on adventure that your kids will love (and you’ll enjoy too), let me tell you about our visit to Crayola Experience Orlando.
It’s a bright, colorful world of creativity located right inside The Florida Mall, and it’s the kind of place where your little ones can run wild with their imagination—and you don’t have to worry about glitter getting stuck in your carpet.
We recently took a trip there, and I’m sharing all the details: what to expect, what to bring, the best activities, prices, and a few helpful tips that I wish I knew beforehand!
Where Is Crayola Experience Orlando?
You’ll find Crayola Experience right inside The Florida Mall in Orlando, Florida. Parking is free (yay!), and once you walk into the mall, there are plenty of signs to guide you. The entrance is super colorful and hard to miss—it literally looks like you’re about to walk into a giant crayon box!

Ticket Prices & What’s Included
You can buy your tickets online to save a few bucks—general admission starts at $29.99 per person, and kids under 2 are free. Pro tip: if you go later in the day (within 2 hours of closing), they offer $10 off per ticket at the door. We went early because we had plans to go camping at Kelly Park/Rock Springs in the afternoon.
They also have annual passes for $44.99, which is honestly a great value if you live nearby or plan to visit again. The pass includes discounts, unlimited visits for 15 months, and fun extras like “Bring a Friend Free” days.
Your admission includes access to over 20 creative activities, two tokens per person (more on those below), a voucher for a scribble scrubbie and unlimited re-entry for the day (in case you want to grab lunch outside the building).
When to Go & How Long to Stay
Crayola Experience opens daily at 10:00 AM, but closing times vary—some days it’s 6 PM, others 8 PM—so be sure to check the website for updated hours.
We spent a solid 3.5 hours there, and I could easily see us staying longer if we didn’t have camping plans. There’s so much to do and see that time really flies.
What to Expect Inside
This place is every creative kid’s dream. The minute we walked in, my kids’ eyes lit up like it was Christmas morning. Here are some of our favorite activities:
Wrap It Up!
Each of us got to create and name our own crayon, and then wrap it with a custom label. This was one of my kids’ favorite things—and yes, I made one too!
Melt & Mold + Drip Art
These stations let you melt real crayons into fun shapes or use melted wax to create spin art masterpieces. My kids were mesmerized watching the colors swirl and drip.

You Design
This was such a cool interactive area where you design your own fashion outfits or race cars on a tablet, and then see them come to life on a big screen runway. Super high-tech and fun!
Coloring Stations
There are coloring stations everywhere and each station have different coloring pages. For example, there are character stations and there you can find coloring pages for that specific character.

Chaos & Creativity Show
We caught a quick live show featuring some Crayola characters. It was silly and fun—perfect for a short break between all the hands-on activities.
Playground
There are two playgrounds, one for toddlers and another one for older kids.

Painting Station
Everything your kids need to become the next Monet is provided. The water, the paint, the paper and even some painting pages.
Meet Bluetiful
You can’t miss Bluetiful, the world’s largest crayon, which weighs over 1,300 pounds and stretches over 15 feet long! It made for a great photo op.
Become a cartoon character
Snap a photo of yourself and let the robot sharpie turn you into a cartoon character. Then take your cartoon photo to the coloring station and color it away!

Scribble Scrubbie
Use the voucher to get a scribble scrubbie and head over to the designated coloring area. Once your kids is done coloring it, wash it off at the washing station, dry it and start all over again.
Tips & Fun Extras
Birthday Bonus: If your child visits within 7 days of their birthday, they get free admission! Just bring proof of birthdate.
Tokens: You’ll get two tokens per person with admission, which can be used for things like making your custom crayon or a Model Magic figure. You can buy more for $0.50 each if needed.
Dining Options: Inside, there’s Café Crayola (open weekends) and a Snack Shack for quick bites. You’re also inside a mall, so there are plenty of food options nearby.
Souvenir Alert: You can pick up a “Fun Boost” package for $10 that included a souvenir drink, two popcorns, and extra tokens. It felt like a good value and made snack time easier.
Free Souvenir: Get a Crayola passport and get each slot stamped and save it as a souvenir or even add it to a scrapbook of the trip.

Is It Toddler-Friendly?
Yes! Our 3-year-old had just as much fun as our older kids. Most stations are interactive and designed for all ages. Everything is stroller-friendly and wheelchair accessible, which makes moving around really easy.

I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy Crayola Experience as much as I did—but it was such a fun, colorful, and creative family outing. It’s indoors (hello, AC!), educational, and gives kids a chance to get artsy without the cleanup stress.
If you’re planning a trip to Orlando, I highly recommend adding this stop to your itinerary. It's the perfect break from the theme parks and a great way to spend a half-day with the kids and if you need more suggestions on what to do in Orlando, check out my Viator list with all Orlando Top Favorites.

This article cleared up a lot of confusion for me. Please write an article about Idyllic Gardening!
Love how you covered all the key points. Great work! Please write an article about Dr Raj Desai.
Thanks for providing this review. I too used the 67 steps to make some realizations, change some behaviors, and change my life some by changing my business practices. Buying it agin for myself and my now adult kids!. Have an awesome day! Cool site… I will come back soon.
I also got my cranberry hibiscus at Echo in Ft. Myers over 13 years ago and I love that they still pop up in my yard. I've been trying to find the exact macros this plant provides to your diet but all I ever come up with is info on either the tea or the flowers. I use the leaves in my salads daily when its growing fresh in my yard. I do prefer the smaller leaves for salad. Any additional info you may have is appreciated!
