Summer is gone and along with it the pool times, barbecue with friends and family and lovely beach days but Fall brings with it cozy movie days, sweater weather and pumpkin spice everything.


Another nice way to enjoy the smells of autumn is using essential oils that resemble the season.


Here is a list of essential oils you can use in your recipes for the fall season.

Bergamot


Bergamot has a calming and soothing aroma. It helps to soothe and rejuvenate the skin and it has the ability to be both uplifting and calming.


Blends well with cypress, eucalyptus, geranium, lavender, lemon and ylang-ylang.


















Black Pepper


Black pepper has amazing properties and benefits. It may increase cellular oxygenation, helps to support digestive glands and rheumatoid arthritis as well as it aids in increasing energy.


However, considering its potency, black pepper is not recommended for kids 6 years of age and under.















Cardamom


Cardamom essential oil may help with loss of appetite, aids to alleviate symptoms caused by menstrual period and menopause. It has an uplifting, invigorating and refreshing aroma.


It blends well with bergamot, cedarwood, cinnamon, clove, orange, rose and ylang-ylang.



















Cassia

Blends well with bergamot, clary sage, cypress, eucalyptus, floral oils, juniper, resinous oils and rosemary.

Clove
