Enjoying the evening in the beautiful island of Sanibel

I live in a beautiful place, Southwest Florida. Full of nature, animals and wildlife but I don't explore it as much. So, this weekend we decided to go spend an afternoon in Sanibel Island, where there are 250 kinds of shells, 230 kinds of birds and 0 TRAFFIC LIGHTS!!!

If you are looking for a McDonalds, well don't! The word in town is that the big franchise tried to open one of their restaurants on the island but the locals got together and decided that it was not the type business they were looking to have.

Since we weren't looking to eat greasy food anyway, we decided to eat at a super cute restaurant called Island Cow. I had a drink and husband had shark for the first time.

Finally, we then stopped by the causeway to take some magnificent pictures. The views are absolutely breathtaking. You can clearly see Fort Myers on one side and Sanibel on the other.

If you are planning on visiting Sanibel and or Captiva, I highly recommend you check out the island's website, it has everything you need to know.

Enjoy the sweet side of life
